The lost Mayan Ruins
The most important sights of the region are the archaeological sites of Palenque, Yaxchilán and Bonampak as well as the landscapes of the river Usumacinta.
The famous ruins of Palenque are about three hours away.
The Mayan cities of Bonampak are near the camp, so rent a bike and explore the ruins in the middle of the jungle!
